Steda Receivables
Chase every invoice the same way, and let them pay you
The aging comes out of QuickBooks and drives one ranked worklist. Reminders go out on the policies you set, after a preview you approve. Your customers sign in at your own address and pay by card or bank through your own Stripe account, and the payment posts back to QuickBooks. Online and Desktop, including Enterprise.

How a month goes
01
The aging comes in
Pulled from QuickBooks Online, from Desktop through the Web Connector, or uploaded as a file. Re-aged on your own bucket edges and terms overrides, because the aging has to match the one you already argue from.
02
It gets worked
One ranked queue with a next action per customer. What was said, what was promised, and what was disputed, recorded against the customer rather than in somebody's inbox. Reminders go out on the policies you set, after a preview you approve.
03
Month end closes on it
The movement between snapshots and the allowance for credit losses, computed from the aging you closed on and filed with the month. The workpaper is the thing your auditor asks for.
What it does
Aging on your terms
Snapshots from QuickBooks Online, from Desktop through the Web Connector, or a CSV upload. Bucket edges and terms overrides are settings, so a customer on net 45 is not shown as late on day 31.
A ranked worklist
Every customer with a balance, ranked, with the next action and the reason it is next. A broken promise ranks first. Filter it, and export it with the filters you left it under.
What was actually said
A page per customer: counters, aging, and one timeline of every call, note, promise, send and payment. The person covering next week reads it in a minute.
Reminders you approve first
Policies decide who gets chased and when, with the invoices attached. The preview is the approval gate: every message and every recipient, before anything sends. A policy can stay on approval forever, and safe mode holds the unattended run while you are still setting up.
Disputes that pause the chase
A question a customer raises in the portal, or one you note yourself, lands in the worklist and stops the reminders for that invoice until somebody resolves it. The customer who raised it can see it.
The month-end workpaper
Movement between snapshots and the allowance for credit losses, on the aging you closed on rather than one re-derived later, exported to Excel with the rest.
The customer portal
Your customers pay you at your own address
Part of Receivables, not an add-on. Your customers sign in without a password, see what they owe, and pay through your own Stripe account. Steda records what happened and posts it back to QuickBooks. It never becomes a payments company.
The platform fee is 0.5% on a card payment and 0.5% on a bank payment, capped at $5, on top of the processing Stripe bills you for. That cap is the same as Stripe’s own, so a bank payment through the portal never costs you more than $10 all-in, whatever the invoice.
Sign in by email, no password
A per-customer link or an emailed six-digit code. Nothing to reset, for a page a customer visits a few times a year.
The statement and every invoice
Balance, aging and payment history, with any invoice or credit memo downloadable as a PDF in QuickBooks' own layout, and the statement as a PDF or a workbook, all under your logo.
Pay by card or bank, through your account
Checkout runs on your own Stripe account. You are the merchant of record. A customer can apply a credit memo at the checkout and pay the difference, save a method, and enrol in autopay.
Written back to QuickBooks
A payment posts as a received payment applied to the invoices it settled, on Online or Desktop, and each payout posts as one deposit that ties to the bank credit. A returned bank payment becomes a reversing entry, never a deleted payment.

Against what you have now
QuickBooks sends reminders. It does not run collections.
QuickBooks Online will email up to three reminders per invoice, and QuickBooks Desktop has its own reminder list. Both are worth using. Neither records what was said, ranks who to call, pauses for a dispute, or files an allowance at month end.

Questions
Does this work with QuickBooks Desktop?
Yes, including Enterprise, through the Web Connector. That is unusual in this category: the modern collections tools connect to QuickBooks Online and Xero and stop there. It also works from a file, so a company whose accounting system cannot connect can still run its whole aging by upload and export.
Do reminders send on their own?
Only if you decide they should. Every policy can be held on approval, so the run drafts the messages and waits. Safe mode holds the unattended run entirely while you are setting up. When you do turn a policy loose, the preview is still there before each run.
What does the portal cost?
Nothing extra. It is part of Receivables. Payments run through your own Stripe account, so Stripe bills you for processing directly, and Steda takes a platform fee of 0.5% on a card payment and 0.5% on a bank payment capped at $5. The bank cap equals Stripe's own, so a bank payment never costs you more than $10 all-in.
Does Steda ever hold the money?
No. Your Stripe account is yours, you are the merchant of record, and the money goes from your customer to your bank. Steda takes a platform fee on the transaction and never touches the funds. If you leave, the Stripe account stays.
What does month end produce?
A filed aging snapshot, a movement report between snapshots, and the allowance for credit losses computed on the aging you closed on. Days sales outstanding appears on the dashboard once you enter monthly credit sales, because it cannot be derived from an aging alone.
The other product, Steda Registers, closes the month behind the aging: fixed assets, prepaid, leases and loans, and Texas property tax. Both together are $329 per month for the first entity.
